Outstanding Faculty Named at Purdue North Central

WESTVILLE - Four full-time faculty members and four part-time instructors at Purdue University North Central have been named as Outstanding Teachers for the 2004-2005 academic year. They were recognized at the annual PNC Honors Convocation.

Full-time faculty are selected for the outstanding teacher award through a comprehensive process that included student and peer evaluations. This year's honorees include: Thomas F. Brady, Sr., Valparaiso; Engineering Technology Division; Frederick C. Patten, Michigan City, Liberal Arts Division; Barbara J. Hasbargen, Valparaiso, Professional Studies Division and Kent J. Lange, Michigan City, Science Division.

Outstanding part-time instructors are selected for each of the four academic areas. This year's award winners and their teaching areas are: Kathleen M. FitzGibbon, New Buffalo, Mich., Engineering Technology Division; John T. Coggins, Valparaiso, Liberal Arts Division; Mary Jane Eisenhauer, Valparaiso, Professional Studies Division and Keri A. Marrs, LaPorte, Science Division.
