PNC “Much Ado About Nothing” Auditions

Westville – The Purdue University North Central Theatre will host auditions on Nov. 3, 4, 10 and 11 for a spring performance of the William Shakespeare play, “Much Ado About Nothing.”

Those auditioning for roles are asked to bring a one-minute monologue from theatre, television, movies, or just tell a good joke. There will be an audition signup sheet outside Technology Building Room 325, or signup by email by contacting Dr. Paul Hecht, assistant professor of English, at phecht@pnc.edu . Audition dates and times will be confirmed via email to those who sign up.

Rehearsals will begin in late February and run Monday through Thursday evenings. Performances will be April 16, 17, 22 and 23.

Cast or crew members may earn university credit by reenrolling in Theatre 34700, 2 credits. Students may also be part of the play by taking an eight-week introduction to acting and Shakespeare class, Theatre 34800, 3 credits.

Persons with disabilities needing accommodations should contact Hecht.
