PNC Non-Credit Language Courses

WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education will offer non-credit basic language courses in beginning Spanish, Italian or Chinese.

These courses are being offered at PNC-Porter County, 600 Vale Park Road in Valparaiso and are useful for people who seek to gain a basic working knowledge of foreign language that can be used when traveling, or to better communicate with co-workers, or for the pleasure of knowing another language. The courses focus on conversation, inflection, vocabulary and the sentence structure used in daily conversation.

The Spanish course will be offered Thursdays, June 10 to July 29 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Italian course will be offered Wednesdays, June 16 to Aug. 4 from 9 to11 a.m.

The Chinese course will be offered Wednesdays, June 30 to Aug. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Registration fee is $199 and the accompanying book is $35.
