PNC Class to Have Skype Interview with Kristen Iversen

The Purdue University North Central "Introduction to Biography" class will speak with author
Kristen Iversen, via Skype on March 26 at 5 p.m., in Library-Student-Faculty Building Assembly Hall Room 02. The public is invited.

Iversen, author of the well-reviewed book “Full Body Burden,” both lived by and worked in the notorious Rocky Flats Nuclear Facility in Colorado.  Her book describes her childhood, the cancers that afflicted her neighbors, her brief employment at Rocky Flats and the efforts of residents to achieve legal justice. Her story is by turns heartbreaking, uplifting, and very frightening.

Her Skype meeting at PNC is co-sponsored by the PNC Sustainability Committee.
