PNC Students Earn Honors
WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central students have earned a number of honors in recent weeks. Awards were presented to:
Student Organizations of The Year - Fine Arts, Convocations and Events Committee (F.A.C.E.) and the Spanish Club.
Outstanding Student Service Employee of The Year - Vice Chancellor of Administration William Back.
Student Organization Member of the Year- Carl Stambaugh, Chesterton.
Leadership Award - Jon Charlson, Valparaiso.
Student Organization Advisor of the Year- Dean John Coggins
People Taking Action in Their Communities (PAC) Humanitarian Award - John Morley, New Prairie.
Chancellor's Award for Honoring Diversity - Joy Collmar, Rensselaer.
Diversity Mini-grants were awarded to the Spanish Club and the American Sign Language Club
Members of the PNC Student Government Association for 2008 – 2009 academic year will be:
President Jonathan Sichtermann, Valparaiso; Vice President Lyndsie Daikhi, Michigan City; Treasurer Austre Medina, Valparaiso; Secretary Aleah Turner, Hobart. Student representatives are Tom Albano, Chesterton; Christina Barden, Michigan City; Stephanie Kuziela, Westville; Holly Logan, Demotte; Nick Mucha, Valparaiso; Carl Stambaugh, Chesterton.
