Sinai Forum Presents Gail MarksJarvis Nov. 7

The 57 th season of the Purdue University North Central Sinai Forum will continue its season on Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. at Elston Middle School in Michigan City with an appearance by syndicated financial journalist and author, Gail MarksJarvis who will present, “After the Stock Market Shock: What's Ahead for Your Money.” The program is sponsored by Brad Werner and Company.
MarksJarvis, one of the nation's most respected personal finance columnists, will assess the current economic climate, discuss how the recession affected the nation's investment psychology and share tips on what to do with investment dollars now.
In addition to writing a column for the “Chicago Tribune,” MarksJarvis delivers advice on personal finance, investing, business and financial markets through her speeches, television and radio appearances. She was named “Best Financial Columnist” by Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
She has been a reporter for National Public Radio, has appeared on ABC, NBC and CBS and is heard regularly on CLTV and WGN radio.
Her book, “Saving for Retirement Without Living Like a Pauper or Winning the Lottery” was written in response to readers the questions and dilemmas her readers have encountered with their investments.
A book signing will follow the program.
Season subscription tickets are: $75 for regular tickets, $125 for donor tickets and $150 for patron tickets. Any student with a valid ID will be admitted free.
