Sinai Forum Season Opens

The 59th season of the Purdue University North Central Sinai Forum will open on Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at Elston Middle School, 317 Detroit Street, in Michigan City with David Gergen discussing, “What Can We Expect in 2012? Election Issues and Answers.”
Gergen serves as a senior political analyst for CNN, is a professor of public service and director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and is a contributor to “Parade Magazine.” He has served as a White House adviser to 4 U.S. presidents: Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton, was chief editor of “U.S. News & World Report.”
He shared his unique experiences in his New York Times best-seller, “Eyewitness to Power: The Essence of Leadership, Nixon to Clinton.”
His background makes Gergen uniquely qualified to share his sights and commentary on the upcoming presidential election. Audience members will find his thoughtful, non-biased and interesting analysis of the presidential candidates and the overall state of the nation to be invaluable for the November election.
