WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central Office of Student Activities and Dean’s Leadership Group recently coordinated a Thanksgiving Food Drive Blitz at the PNC Westville and PNC-Porter County campuses.
Faculty, staff and students donated cash and more than 300 non-perishable items that were used to fill 10 food baskets that were given to families of PNC students who may not have been able to have a full Thanksgiving meal otherwise.
The annual food drive was led by senior Amanda Ritthaler, a Nursing major from Valparaiso. “This is such a special time of the year and to see the entire campus get involved for such a worthy cause is truly heartwarming,” says Ritthaler.
