PNC Non-Credit Computer Class for Absolute Beginners

WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education will offer a non-credit course to introduce the basics of using a computer and get individuals started on the path to computer literacy.

“Computer Basics” will meet at PNC - Porter County , at 600 Vale Park Road in Valparaiso , on Tuesdays, Jan. 19 to Feb. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is $96. A recommended book is available for $28.

This course will cover topics such as understanding hardware and software, using the mouse, browsing the internet and using email.
