PNC Offers Children Super Summer and Wonderful Weekdays
Westville – Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education offers children in kindergarten through fifth grades the opportunity to participate in Super Summer and Wonderful Weekdays programs July 28 to Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
These hands-on learning programs use the Purdue North Central campus as its learning lab.
The Super Summer youth program offers accelerated classes for academically gifted children scoring within the 90 th percentile on ISTEP and includes courses such as “Now You're Cookin' with Science,” “We Love Bugs,” “DaVinci Kids Camp: Destination Grand Canyon!” and “Chinese for Children.” Proof of eligibility is required at registration.
The Wonderful Weekday program offers hands-on classes for children of all abilities and includes such classes as “Billabongs and Boomerangs: An Outback Adventure,” “Dog Days of Summer” and “What's Inside?”.
The fee for each weekly session is $130 with an Early Bird special of $115 if registration is completed before July 14.
