Non-Credit American Sign Language (ASL) Course
Westville – Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing will offer a non-credit American Sign Language (ASL) course.
“American Sign Language: New Beginnings” will be offered at PNC – Porter County at 600 Vale Park Road , on Tuesdays, Oct. 7 to Nov. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Registration is $199. There is an additional book/video fee of $59.
This beginners ASL course is for those who have an interest in learning the basics of sign language. Participants will be introduced to finger spelling, learn basic signs and there will be an opportunity to participate in simple dialogues and develop communicative competencies of this visual language.
