PNC Books and Coffee Series Begins
WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central will continue its popular "Books & Coffee" discussion series through the spring semester. The programs, which are free and open to the public, will meet from noon to about 1 p.m. in Library-Student-Faculty Building, Room 60, located on the building's lower level.
Each session will feature a review of the book, followed by a discussion period. Refreshments will be served. The books being reviewed are available in the PNC Bookstore. This semester's selections include:
Feb. 15 - Wendy J Levenfeld, executive director of the Purdue University North Central Sinai Forum, will review “The Trouble with Islam,” by Irshad Manji.
March 21 – Dr. E. Anne Christo-Baker, a ssistant professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership , will review “Think!: Why Crucial Decisions Can't be Made in the Blink of an Eye,” by Michael R. LeGault.
April 18 - Dr. Kenneth Kincaid , assistant professor of History, will review, “The Country Under my Skin: A Memoir of Love and War,” by Gioconda Belli.
