PNC Non-Credit Expanding the Basics Computer Course

WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education will offer a non-credit computer course which will expand upon the basics of using a computer and get individuals further along on the path to computer literacy.

“Computer Basics” will meet at the PNC Westville campus on Wednesdays, June 16 to June 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. or PNC - Porter County at 600 Vale Park Road, Valparaiso, on Tuesdays, June 15 to June 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. or Thursdays, July 8 to July 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is $96. A recommended book is also available for $28.

This course will cover topics such as understanding the equipment, hardware and software, using the mouse, how to create, save, delete, opening and closing files and more.
