PNC Presents Author Steve Brouwer
Westville – Purdue University North Central will host author Steve Brouwer who will present the talk, “Medical Internationalism and Revolutionary Doctors” on Tuesday, Nov 13 at noon in the Library-Student-Faculty Building Room 144. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Brouwer, from Carlisle, Penn., will discuss his most recent book “Revolutionary Doctors: How Venezuela and Cuba are Changing the World's Conception of Health Care.”
He is the author of several other books about American politics and economics, including “Robbing Us Blind: The Return of the Bush Gang and the Mugging of America,” “Sharing the Pie: A Disturbing Picture of the U.S. Economy” and “Exporting the American Gospel: Global Christian Fundamentalism.”
