PNC Leadership on University Affordability and Effectiveness
Westville – Purdue University North Central Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Karen Schmid will be a featured guest in a virtual conversation, “Can Strategic Alignment (or Realignment) of Academic Programs Help You With Your Budget Crisis?” on March 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. Joining Schmid will be Mary Doyle, vice chancellor for Information Technology at the University of California-Santa Cruz.
The event is sponsored by the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). This event is open to all and will be of particular interest to those in education, particularly higher education. This virtual conversation can be accessed through www.survivetheeconomy.org/events/can-strategic-alignment-or. The open registration price is $49; the SCUP member price $19.
Virtual conversations are low-cost alternatives to conferences and meetings. This discussion will be presented via a web cast and listeners are able to participate by calling in their questions and comments. A series of virtual conversations is being sponsored by SCUP on how colleges and universities might redeploy assets in a variety of ways to meet the current economic crisis.
