PNC Students Collect Teddy Bears for Riley's Hospital
Westville – Purdue University North Central Fine Arts, Convocations, & Events Committee (FACE) is sponsoring a Teddy Bear Collection Drive for children in Riley's Children's Hospital.
Hospital regulations require that all donated bears for this drive must be brand-new and must have the tags attached. Monetary donations will also be accepted and used in full to buy additional bears.
“Show a child you care this holiday season by purchasing a bear from our PNC bookstore or by donating one purchased from another store,” said FACE President Carl Stambaugh, PNC student.
Bears will be collected until Wednesday, Nov. 5. There will be a designated drop spot for donated bears in each building on the PNC campus. PNC students will complete this drive by traveling to Indianapolis on Friday Nov. 14, spending the day reading and playing with the young patients at Riley's Children's Hospital.
Anyone who wants to volunteer to help or donate to the drive may contact Stambaugh at (219) 785-5330 or at cstambaug@pnc.edu.
