PNC– Porter County Blood Donor Challenge Results

VALPARAISO – The Purdue University North Central – Porter County blood drive that was held as part of the Purdue University vs. Indiana University Blood Donor Challenge attracted 28 donors.

Purdue students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and community members who donated blood to the Red Cross as part of the challenge received a Purdue University vs. Indiana University Challenge T-shirt featuring the historic Oaken Bucket. While the Purdue University football team won the Oaken Bucket by defeating Indiana University 28 – 19, Indiana University ultimately collected more pints of blood for the donor challenge.

Also, PNC – Porter County hosted a drawing among the donors for two Purdue North Central hooded sweatshirts. The winners were:  PNC student Christy Ann Campolattara, of Valparaiso, and Keri Marrs de Barron, academic advisor at PNC - Porter County.
