PNC Invites Students to November 6 Open House

WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central will host a campus open house on Thursday, Nov. 6 for prospective students of all ages and their families.

On-campus activities are centered in the Library-Student-Faculty Building . Campus tours begin at 5:30 p.m. Information sessions will begin at 6:15 p.m. These sessions will showcase PNC academics and student life, athletics and activities. The event is appropriate for high school students, adults thinking about attending college, community college graduates, as well as students already admitted to PNC who want to learn more about their upcoming college experience.

Several information sessions will be offered. Adults planning on attending college are invited to attend the session, “Life Changed and I Need a New Career.” The sessions, “Taking the Fear Out of Paying for College” and “You are Admitted – What's Next?” will be of interest to all potential students and their families. There will also be an interactive session about choosing a college major.

This is an ideal opportunity to explore academic programs with faculty and advisors and learn more about student support programs, campus activities and athletics in a casual, fun atmosphere. Families are welcome to attend. The event is free and light refreshments will be served.

Visitors will have the opportunity to visit a model apartment at the University Park off-campus apartments, owned and managed by South Coast LLC, and located directly across U.S. 421 from the PNC campus.
