Prospective Students Invited to PNC College Fair Oct. 13

Westville – Representatives from more than 50 colleges and universities will be at Purdue University North Central on Monday evening, Oct. 13, for the 27th annual College Fair. The event offers area high school and middle school students, as well as interested adults, a chance to find out more about academic programs, application procedures, campus life, costs, and other aspects of college life.

The evening will begin with financial aid presentations at 6 and 6:15 p.m. to help students and their families understand what aid is available and how to begin the application process. College representatives will meet with students and answer questions from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. All events will take place in the PNC Library-Student-Faculty Building .

Many public and private colleges will be represented, among them Purdue University West Lafayette, Calumet and North Central; Indiana University Bloomington, South Bend and Northwest; IUPUI; Ball State University; Indiana State University; IVY Tech Community College; Butler University; ITT Technical Institute; Manchester College; St. Joseph's College; St. Mary's College – Notre Dame; University of Southern Indiana; University of Evansville and Trine University. Benedictine University and Concordia University in Illinois and Andrews University, Grand Valley State, Hope College, and Kettering University in Michigan.

The College Fair is free and open to the public and advance registration is not required. The event will be held in the Library-Student-Faculty Building on the PNC campus, just south of the junction of the Indiana Toll Road and U.S. 421.
