PNC Back to School Blast Fireworks Show Aug. 29
Westville – Purdue University North Central will host a Back to School Blast, a fireworks celebration on F riday, Aug. 29, on the PNC Westville campus. This is the first event of its kind on the PNC campus and it is free and open to the public.
Students, families, alumni and community members are all welcome to attend. Free parking on campus opens at 7 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, coolers, blankets and bug spray for the event. Soft drinks and packaged snacks will be available for purchase. Purdue North Central is a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus.
In the event of rain or questionable weather, the fireworks will be Saturday, Aug. 30. Information will be posted by 5 p.m. on the PNC home page on the day of the event at www.pnc.edu regarding a rain date. The fireworks to celebrate “A Proud Past and Strong Future” for PNC will be professionally presented by Bada Boom Pyrotechnics. The electrifying show will be set to music and is appropriate for all ages.
