PNC Offers Children’s Early Learning Explorers Club
Westville – Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education will offer hands-on classes for children ages 2½ to 6 years old. This dynamic early childhood program focuses on good health; positive relationships and enriching educational activities that help children succeed at their highest levels.
“The Explorers Club” will present programs that strengthen children's resilience and improves their learning environments so that they possess the tools needed for success. Children and their caregivers will venture into a world full of curiosities with activities will take place on the PNC campus in Westville.
Two Explorers Club functions are offered. Participants may choose from Saturday, April 26- “Mix it Up” an exploration of cooking and chemistry that will encourage cognitive stimulation and multi-sensory learning. Saturday May 3 - “Move Like Art” explores the campus sculpture collection. Through movement activities and sensory experiences, the children and their caregivers to create their own artistic masterpieces. Both will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The registration fee for one child and caregiver is $29 per session. Attend both sessions for $50.
