PNC Electrical Safety and Arc Flash Training

WESTVILLE – The Purdue University North Central Center for Occupational Safety & Health has been awarded a Susan Harwood OSHA Training Grant to provide funding for the development and delivery of programming in electrical safety and arc flash training at little or no cost to the participant.

“Electrical Safety/Arc Flash Training” will meet on Friday, March 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at PNC – Porter County , 600 Vale Park Road , Valparaiso . The training is free and a $24 fee provides lunch and morning and afternoon snacks.

This training focuses on the hazards of electricity and arc flash and the new OSHA electrical standard requirements. This 8-hour program is designed for qualified workers, affected workers or train-the-trainer safety coordinators. Training materials are provided in English and Spanish.
