PNC Golf Outing to Benefit Athletic Scholarships
WESTVILLE – The Purdue University North Central Athletics Department will host its first golf outing to support athletic scholarships on Friday, Sept. 15 at The Course at Aberdeen in Valparaiso, Ind.
The four-person scramble format begins at 9:30 a.m. with unlimited use of the driving range, putting green and chipping area. The shotgun start is scheduled for 11 a.m. and is followed by a pig roast, silent auction and awards dinner.
Numerous contests offering a variety of prizes and awards will take place throughout the event. Included in the on-course prizes and the silent auction is the chance to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle, weekend get-away packages, four tickets to the Purdue - Notre Dame football game in South Bend, a mountain bike, several golf passes to top regional courses, a suit from David’s clothier in Valparaiso and more.
Those who cannot participate but would like to benefit the athletic scholarship fund via the golf outing, sponsorship opportunities are available. Hole sponsorships start at $200 and opportunities are available up to $2,500 or more. The dinner-only portion of the event for $50.
