Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:45 PM. It is highly advisable to schedule an appointment if planning on getting your ID card after 3:30 PM. Walk-ins will be accepted at any time during the hours and days listed above.

Note: You must have registered and paid for classes to get an ID card.

The Card
The ID card is intended to serve as proof of an individual's status with Purdue North Central.  The front of the card includes a photo of the cardholder, the cardholder's first and last names, and the cardholder's status with the university.  The back of the card has a magnetically encoded stripe which contains an identification number and other information about the cardholder. Your ID card is good for two years from the issue date, and can be renewed any time during the expiration month. Please bring your old card with you.

Card Types
There are three different card types: STUDENT (black), FACULTY/STAFF (red) and COURTESY (blue). The courtesy card is a general public card available to Indiana residents.

Card Uses
Your ID will be required to check out books at the campus library.

Card Care
Please protect your card from damage or wear by placing it in your wallet.  The PNC Bookstore also has leather Purdue ID holders available for purchase. Do not punch holes in the card as doing so may render it invalid.

Protect the magnetically encoded information by keeping the card away from magnetic fields such as those generated by television sets, stereo speakers, bulk tape erasers, radio transmitters, personal computers, etc. These could erase the information encoded on the card.

Policies
The PNC ID Card is and at all times shall remain the property of Purdue University North Central. It may be revoked at any time by the University if misused. It must be presented or returned upon request by an appropriate University official. Student, faculty, and staff of PNC must have their picture displayed on their identification card.

The information contained on and in the campus identification card, including but not limited to the picture, will not be released to persons outside the University unless required by law, in response to a valid court order or subpoena, or upon the execution of a written release signed by the cardholder.

Identification cards shall not be defaced or modified in any way. The use of stickers, pins, or other items affixed to campus identification cards is prohibited in order to preserve their useful life.

Cards must be returned to the Registrar's Office (for students) or the Office of Campus Relations (faculty/staff) when the cardholder is no longer affiliated with the University. Any transfer, alteration, falsification, or forgery of a campus ID card constitutes a violation of University policy and may result in an appropriate disciplinary action to be determined by the Dean of Students.

Lost Cards
The initial ID card is free, and each cardholder is entitled to receive one card every two years without charge. If a card becomes unusable due to normal wear and tear before this time, it also will be replaced for free.

However, if the card is lost or stolen, there is a $10 fee for its replacement. Please make this payment at the Bursar's Office (SWRZ 127) before getting a new ID.
