Tamara A. Miller, Psy.D., HSPP, is a licensed psychologist who has been engaged in the practice of child, adolescent, and family behavioral health services since 1992. She obtained her Master of Clinical Psychology in 1996 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Chicago, and received her Doctor of Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Child, Family, and Couple Therapy in 1999. She completed her residency at the Worcester Youth Guidance Center in Worcester, MA working with an ethnically and socially diverse population of children and their families.

She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and has worked closely with the LaPorte County Offices of Family and Children and the LaPorte County Juvenile Services/Probation Department. For the past 10 years she has provided consultation for various child welfare, foster care, and guardianship issues. Dr. Miller has also been a participant in furthering psychologists' training through the supervision of psychology interns, and has assisted public schools to improve the effectiveness of their special education programs to better meet the behavioral health needs of their students.

During the past year she worked with Senior Counseling Group providing assessment and psychotherapy services for the geriatric population in nursing home settings.

Dr. Miller is a member of the American Psychological Association.
