Employee Remission Information 13/14

Children of staff, spouse or domestic partner of staff, and spouse of official retirees pay as follows:

North Central campus:
Student – $130.58* per credit hour
Staff Spouse PNC MBA – $179.63* (includes differential fee and R&R fee)

*Children of staff, spouse of staff, domestic partner of staff, and spouse of official retiree will be required to pay all applicable special fees including nonresident tuition, workshop fees, deposits, laboratory fees, and differential fees established for specific courses and programs. Children of staff who do not reside in the State of Indiana will also be charged nonresident tuition on all campuses if staff or official retiree is not paying income taxes to the State of Indiana. The maximum hours are seven per semester and four during the summer for spouse of staff and spouse of official retiree. Staff must be employed as a benefit eligible employee on a continuous basis for at least two years before spouse is eligible for the fee remission.

Form 15 “Application for Staff Child and Staff Spouse/ Domestic Partner Fee Remission” is available in the Bursar’s Office (SWRZ 127).

Form 15 is valid for five years at the West Lafayette campus. To receive benefits on the North Central campus NEW forms must be completed each Fall semester. The form is only valid for one academic year on our campus. Please return all completed forms to the PNC Bursar’s Office, noting which campus will be attended.

 

Staff pay as follows:

Staff receiving fee remission benefits and attending classes at the North Central Campus:
Undergraduate Student – $87.01* per credit hour
Graduate Student – $98.72* per credit hour
PNC MBA Student – $124.72* per credit hour (includes differential fee)

Form 1 “Request for Approval of University Class Attendance and Fee Remission and Exception to Credit Hour Limit” must be completed each semester. The form is available in the Bursar’s Office.
