Background
Professor Daniel Rutledge has both business and academic
experience. His twelve years working in marketing for
automotive suppliers provides a solid foundation of
practical business experience. His twenty-seven years in
higher education have been in marketing with
specialization teaching and researching in strategy and
marketing management fields. He has consulted with
several small businesses and written a disguised case
study for which he received a "Best Case" award from the
Society for Case Research.
Areas of Expertise
Based on his academic record, the fields of business
strategy and marketing management are his main
competencies. He also has conducted marketing research
studies for small business clients and for PNC in his
marketing research course. In the Fall, 2007 semester he
wrote two case studies covering the worldwide automotive
market.
