Background
Dr.
Christo-Baker provides instruction and course
development in organizational behavior and leadership.
She has previous instructional experience in
organizational leadership, management, business, and
social sciences at several higher education
institutions. her academic service also includes being a
presenter and peer-reviewer for international, national,
and regional conferences and serving on dissertation
committees. Her current research focus in in the area of
personality and engagement in the workplace.
Prior to
embarking on an academic career, she served in both the
business and public sectors. For the past fourteen
years, her career focus has been in organization and
leadership development. Most recently, she was at Penn
State where she was a resource to units across the
University for expertise in the areas of leadership and
management development, communication, facilitation, and
team building. She has served as a trainer and
consultant both nationally and internationally.
Christo-Baker
holds a Doctorate in Leadership Studies from Bowling
Green State University, a Master's Degree in
Organization Development also from Bowling Green State
University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Economics from the University of Sierra Leone. She was
the 2004 recipient of her doctoral department's William
J. York Dissertation Research Award. |
