Jared Mrozinske graduated from LaPorte H.S. in 2004. During his junior season, Jared won the team stolen base award, was voted to the Herald Argus All-Area Team as a centerfielder, won the team MVP, was voted All-Conference as a Centerfielder, and was voted to the News Dispatch All-Area Team as a centerfielder.
In his senior season, Jared again won the team stolen base award, was voted to the Herald Argus All-Area Team at CF, won the team Hustle and Desire Award, was voted to the North/South Indiana All-Stars, and was voted to the News Dispatch All-Area Team at CF.
He played his first year of college baseball at Manchester College, in North Manchester, IN. After that season, he transferred to Purdue North Central.
