Title: Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs

Jennifer Wolszczak, Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, has been taking classes at PNC since 1992 (part-time). She has her Associates degree in Business and will be receiving her Bachelor's in Business Management in May. Way to go Jen!! She began working at PNC in July 1997 as the Secretary to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs who at the time was Dr. Ed Bednar. Since then, the office has undergone many changes and her position has changed with it. For a brief time, she held the position of Project Specialist and then in November 2003 was promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
Jen likes to mingle with her PNC buddies and walk outside on warm spring days. She has many fond PNC memories but ones that stand out are her baby shower and the cookie/cracker identity fiasco. She has many favorite foods making it difficult to pick just one. If forced to pick, though, she would say anything Italian. Jen lives in Trail Creek with her husband Mike and two children, Katelyn (4) and Ryan (1).
The quote Jen feels describes her best is, "I try to take it one day at a time, but sometime several days attack me at once."

"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels." This is the motivational sign that appears on the wall of Todd Laux's office. Todd is Purdue University North Central's new wellness director. He comes to PNC from a series of wellness and exercise related jobs in the Chicago area. He is originally from Michigan City and grew up in Trail Creek. Todd is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Exercise Science. Todd has worked with a number of different organizations but he loves his position at PNC because it has such a family atmosphere.
It appears that his interest in wellness and healthy living spills over into his choice of favorite foods. Todd's favorite dessert is angel food cake and his favorite meal is chicken parmigiana. If Todd is going to go out for dinner, he is going to try to get to an Olive Garden Restaurant.
In his spare time, Todd is a member of Extreme Volleyball Professionals which is based out of Chicago. This is a two man beach volleyball league which participates in many tournaments. His team has had several top five finishes. He also plays in indoor volleyball leagues with the Michigan City Parks and Recreation Department, both men's and coed divisions. Todd also enjoys softball and skiing. His participation in these sports goes along with the mottos he lives by: "No Fear" and "Live Life on the Edge."
