Kanri
Nakano is the international entrant in the show. A native of Hokkaido,
Japan, his multi-media pieces are known throughout Japan for their ability to convey
Japanese cultural archetypes. Construction of the Breath was created in 1998 at the Middlebrook Center for the Arts, Three Oaks, Michigan. It is constructed of steel and limestone. If you would like more information on Odyssey 2001, contact the office of campus relations at 785-5267. |
