First Time Freshman
If you are a high school student, you should apply during the fall of your senior year or as soon as possible thereafter. Request a hard copy of your transcripts from your guidance counselor or request an E-transcript from docufide.com. Send transcripts to Purdue North Central.
Print out the high school guidance form and have your guidance counselor fill it out and send in to help complete your application for admission.
Successful applicants from home-schooling follow curriculum requirements of the Indiana Core 40 or Academic Honors Diploma. Our admissions requirements for home-schooled students are the same requirements used for students attending a public or private high school. The SAT or ACT is required.
If you already have graduated from high school, you should apply as soon as possible. Your official high school transcripts are required in order to complete the admissions procedure. Contact your last high school and they will send it to the Admissions Office.

Transfer Student
The following documents are needed for all transfer students:
- Official transcripts from any college or university you have attended
- Official high school transcripts (**unless you have already received a Bachelor's Degree from another institution)
- $30 for the credit evaluation fee.
Purdue North Central (PNC) has built strong relationships with colleges throughout the state to facilitate the transfer of coursework. Once you are admitted, your previous college work is evaluated for PNC credit based on the transcripts you have sent. It is imperative that you send transcripts reflecting all of your college course work. When the evaluation is complete, you and your advisor will receive a list of your coursework that will transfer from your previous institution(s) to PNC. Course grades are not transferred to your PNC record, and will not be included in the computation of your grade-point average at PNC.*
*Note: The Nursing Department considers all transfer credits and GPA for admission into the Nursing Program.
The Transfer Credit to Purdue North Central system is used to view how Purdue North Central undergraduate courses compare to those of other institutions across the United States and, in some cases, internationally. Create a report of transfer credit by selecting from transfer institution courses or by selecting from Purdue North Central courses.
