Educational Background
Undergraduate here at Purdue University North Central in 2008, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) here at Purdue University North Central in 2011.
Hobbies & Interests
My Hobby is baseball, and I am currently an Assistant Baseball Coach here at Purdue University North Central and I also am a former member of the Panther baseball team from 2007 and 2008 seasons.
Where were you prior to PNC?
Prior to PNC I was a Industrial Hygienist for Pekron Consulting Inc. in Whiting, IN.
Favorite Thing about PNC
My favorite thing about PNC is the degree you receive from Purdue University and the impact that can have out in the job market. With this degree companies know you are a quality candidate for any job opportunity.
Most memorable class
The class I remember the most of all would have to be my OSHA certification class with Sarah Sanders-Smith in the OLS Department. It took real life experiences and helped you understand and remember the standards that are required at the work place.
How did your coursework or activities that you were involved in help you find your passion?
The one activity I was involved in was baseball and I believe that all the structure and guidance you must have to be a successful college student-athlete will help you later in life. To me the skills and accountability that we here at PNC require can help our students stand out ahead of the rest of the pack. My course work helped me realize what type of subjects I like and or dislike so with that I began to figure out what type of career choices I would like. I believe that if you are doing something that you enjoy to do then you will be happier and when someone is happy with what their job then the production from them is better.
What advice do you have for prospective students considering PNC?
My advice would be that the experience you have is what you are willing to make it. If you want to meet new people you can, if you want to be apart of something on campus go and do it, do not just show up for class and drive right back home after. PNC has so much to offer students but some choose not to participate and that is a shame.
Favorite Movie
If a movie is good I will give it a chance no matter what type. But comedy movies are what I prefer like for instance: Stepbrothers, The Other Guys, Dumb and Dumber.
