Midwest Student Exchange Program

Midwestern Higher Education Compact Logo

Purdue University North Central participates in the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) of the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC). What does that mean for you? It means if you’re a resident of Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Wisconsin, you may be able to enroll at PNC with significantly reduced tuition levels.

Only 100 undergraduate students and 25 graduate students are allowed at a time though, so don’t put off putting in your application. If you’re accepted, you’ll only pay 125% of regular in-state tuition, and that’s a saving you shouldn’t sneeze at (but if you have to, sneeze into your sleeve, please. It’s just polite).

As an MSEP applicant, you must meet all the same standard admission criteria to PNC and to the specific program you’re interested in. You can’t enroll in any nursing program, but you are eligible to enroll in all the other programs.
