Theatre Production

Theatre @ PNC is back!

Auditions November 28-30 - Sign up now!

This year, theatre production at PNC has a lot to offer:

  • A beautiful new 100-seat venue at the Mainstreet Theatre, Michigan City
  • A huge supply of sets, props, and costumes
  • For the spring, a rowdy comedy from the age of Shakespeare: Ben Jonson's Every Man in His Humor
  • Theatre 136: two credits for participation—acting or crew
  • Theatre 336: two-credit performance workshop course to supplement the play: theatrical practice in the age of Shakespeare: voice, movement, text; scheduled in evenings early in the spring; integrated with rehearsals later.

Signup Sheets for auditions are available in Tech 341, Office of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. Bring a 1-minute monologue from plays, film, or television to the audition.

Interested in being part of the crew? Working on sets, costumes, lights, sound, makeup? Contact Dr. Paul Hecht in the English Department, phecht@pnc.edu or call (219) 785-5296.

Dr. Hecht will direct this spring's production and teach Theatre 136 and 336.
