Requirements for Starting an Organization and Keeping it Active
Constitution ~ Every organization is required to have a constitution. Guidelines for constitutions are available in our office or on our website. Constitution and By-Laws Outline
Advisor ~ Organizations also are required to have an advisor. Advisors must be a PNC staff member
Individuals classified as graduate student staff are not eligible to be advisors to student organizations.
Officer's List ~ Every organization must elect officers and fill out Petition for Student Organization for our office. Officers must be PNC students and elections must be held every year in order for your organization to remain active. Update Officer's Form
Reserving a Location
Numerous facilities on campus are available to student organizations for their meetings and events. See "Event Planning" information for more details.

Publicity Information
There are several mediums you can use to promote your activities, fundraisers, etc. See "Event Planning" information for details.
Web Sites
Your organization establish its own Web site. Please consult our office for more information once you've established your organization. Due to the recent developments with our Web site, it is the responsibility of our Campus Relations department to authorize future additions to our campus Web site. However, you must establish contact our office, initially, and we will forward all requests to Campus Relations.
Charitable Activities
Your organization may do three charitable activities on campus per semester. The agency your fundraiser is supporting must have its charitable information status on file in our office. This ensures that the agency is, indeed, a charity. If you wish to support the University's effort with the United way, you may conduct an additional charity activity (for a total of four) per semester.
Fundraising
There is no limit to the number fundraisers your organization may do. However, you must get approval from our office for each one of your fundraisers by completing an Event Planning Form (EPF) .
