Psi Chi

Psi Chi is an International Psychology Honor Society. According to the Psi Chi mission, the purpose of the Society is to “encourage excellence in scholarship” and “advance the science of psychology” (www.psichi.org, 2011). Membership in the Chapter is for students who are majoring in psychology or a psychology-related degree program. Eligibility for undergraduates includes: completion of 3 semesters at PNC, completion of 9 semester hours of psychology courses at PNC, ranking in the top 35% of their class in general scholarship, and having a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in both psychology classes and in cumulative grades. If you think you meet these requirements and would like to join please complete a Membership for Application form available from Dr. Cheryl W. DeLeon, Faculty Advisor, in SWRZ 30B. Recruitment and induction occur once a year in the Spring semester only. Once you become a member you are a member for life.
