FYE was initiated by the General Education Committee, one of the permanent standing committees of the Purdue North Central Faculty Senate.

FYE is a collaborative project that relies on the support of a wide range of university units. The General Education Committee oversees the course and reports to the Faculty Senate and the Faculty at large. The VCAA’s office has designated Dean Rex Morrow of the College of Liberal Arts as administrative liaison for the course. The VC of Enrollment and Student Services also provides critical support for enrollment matters and communication with students.
