Services for
Students with Disabilities
The Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities
in the Dean of Students Office and Student Support Services
is responsible for the provision of accommodations for
students with disabilities. The Coordinator of Services
for Students with Disabilities works individually with
a student to determine the most appropriate accommodations
based on the student's medical documentation and specific
needs. Academic accommodations, auxiliary aids and services
are designed to assist students with disabilities in
obtaining equal access to course activities, materials,
and evaluations. If a student with a disability requires
an accommodation he/she must schedule an appointment
with the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities
and provide appropriate medical documentation of the
disability. In the case of a Learning Disability, documentation
must have been completed within the last three years.
