Biology 128 – Cells, Organelles, Function
Lecture 1 & 2 organizer
Introduction: A cell is made up of many sub-parts called organelles. Each organelle contributes one or more functions to cell activity, has energy and material demands, and interacts with other organelles or possibly even other cells. Keep in mind that cells and tissues (groupings of similar cells) may be specialized, and, that this specialization is often a consequence of gaining extra numbers of some organelles while losing others.
